Carmen is a PhD Candidate at the Design Department of Politecnico di Milano. She’s interested to investigate new spaces for designer in the emerging design landscape from a human-centered perspective. Interested also in experiment new approaches, based on design thinking and co-design, that leads organization in private and public sectors to radical innovation. Through her PhD she will investigate how digital technology affect the creative design process especially in digital natives and which tools can better unlock their creative potential.
Since 2015 she works by Ideactivity Center, a center for excellence in Creativity and Design whose aim is to give value to all aspects of creativity, promoting innovation through design, as well as to activate and re-enforce all phases of the ‘creative process’ within any given context.
Carmen works also as a freelance designer since 2010 and she co-founded in 2012 Visibilio Design Project, a design studio based in Milan. She graduated in Industrial Design at Politecnico di Milano.
